Today’s Generation began as a survey to all of the schools in  Lincoln County. The survey asked, “What do you feel are the problems in your community?”  There was an overwhelming response from teens regarding this set of questions.  From there the youth were brought to the community team to give the adult Community Team leaders more information on what teens felt the issues were facing them in Lincoln County. Beginning with that meeting, teens from all over Lincoln County began coming together to find a way to let the adults in their community know what these important issues are. We are now a larger group and are called Today’s Generation. We will be having a Speak Out on November 4, 2009. At the Speak Out we will let all of those who can help us know the problems we face ,and offer them suggestions for helping us find positive solutions; and ask them for the help to implement the changes.  “The Time for Change is Now!”
